At Dance Arts Studio, our companies are made up of dedicated, talented young dancers who love to perform and share their love of dance with the community. Our dancers are trained in many disciplines of dance by highly qualified and talented instructors, focusing not only on technique, but on performance quality as well. At DAS, we want our dancers to realize their full potential and we strive to build self confidence and self-esteem in our dancers through the art of dance!
The Pre-Professional Program is a comprehensive program for those dancers ages 13-18 who want more extensive dance training to develop strength and artistry and are considering going on to University or Conservatory Dance programs or auditioning for concert dance companies. Our Pre-Professional division is designed to give dancers the training to be successful in fulfilling their future dance goals. Taught by professional dancers and teachers who themselves hold university degrees in Dance Performance or Dance Education and are members of various dance companies in the Denver/Boulder area. This program also includes assistance with college applications, researching summer dance intensives as well as scholarship opportunities.
There are two levels of dancers for this program, intermediate and advanced. Each dancer's level will be determined by skill and technique
following auditions, not by age.
